Title: Simultaneous treatment of different produced water streams using low-pressure membrane technologies for minimum liquid discharge (MLD).

This talk primarily focused on the potential of low-pressure membrane technologies for the simultaneous treatment of different produced water streams originating at the same site. This can lead to minimum liquid discharge and minimum discharge of hazardous chemicals in the environment.

Event details: This was a three day in-person event arranged by the produced water society. The event included parallel technical sessions and an exhibition and it attracted a 4000+ audience, including experts from academia and industry. The attendees highly appreciated the presentation of Dr. Muhammad Saqib Nawaz and the work of Prof. Ghaffour’s group.
