DESAL Research Group Celebrates Professor Noreddine Ghaffour's Grant of Saudi Citizenship

The DESAL Research Group at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is proud to announce that Professor Noreddine Ghaffour, Group Leader and esteemed expert in desalination technologies, has been granted Saudi citizenship by royal decree. This prestigious recognition highlights Professor Ghaffour's exceptional contributions to the field of environmental science and engineering.

Professor Ghaffour, known for his pioneering work in sustainable desalination methods, expresses gratitude for the honor: "I am deeply honored to receive Saudi citizenship, It is my aim to represent the Kingdom and its visionary goals with distinction. This recognition motivates me and our team at the DESAL Research Group to continue our efforts in developing sustainable solutions to global water challenges.
